After-School Programme

The After-School Programme was developed by the Ministry of Social Transformation, Local Government and Community Empowerment in response to the increase of crime in communities island wide.  This programme  gives students an opportunity to engage in skill building and social development activities during the period after school and before parents get home from work. The programme runs from 3:30 p.m.  to 5:00 p.m, from Mondays to Wednesdays.

The Roseau R.C. Combined School is very fortunate to have its own music band. To achieve quality performance and skill, the students spend quality time with Mr. Leo Koodabachus in learning how to play different percussion instruments. This group currently has 11 students, 3 learning keyboard, 2 learning bass guitar, 4 learning drums and 2 learning the acoustic guitar. Mr. Koodabachus is a very patient, generous and determined gentleman who sacrifices his time teaching the children  and preparing them for different activities during the school year.
